THE BIBLE

Question: If you were to write an instruction manual for the maintenance of a computer, would you:

           a) print parts of the manual in different languages?

           b) have identical words with different meanings?

           c) write sections of the manual at different times and years apart by different people? or

           d) translate the completed manual (from two languages) into another single language but leave

some of the words in their original language?

Obviously a logical answer to the question would be none of the above.  But that is exactly how the Bible in its English translation has been presented to us.  It's no wonder most people find it hard to read and difficult to understand. But thanks to some useful Bible Aides, it is much easier to discover the original message of God and the wonderful opportunity God has given to man.

Although the Bible has come a long way we can be assured, the original message has not been lost.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine,

for reproof,  for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect,

throughly furnished unto all good works"

The Bible is made up of 66 books, 39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament. The Old Testament was written mainly in Hebrew with a bit of Chaldean and the New Testament was written in Greek.  But don't worry, Bible Aides can show you the original words with their original meanings to help explain some difficult scripture where the English translation just fails to teach the truth.
