The sun is representative of God. He is light, i.e. light or righteousness and godliness emanates from all around him. He dwells in light unapproachable which is characteristic of immortality or the glory of God. Psalm 104:1-2, I Timothy 6:14-16, I John 1:5 |

The earth is representative of man. He does not have emanating power, he only has reflective capability. i.e. He reflects both light and casts a shadow of darkness. He is good and evil. He dwells in light and darkness which is characteristic of mortality, the nature of man. Proverbs 4:19, Luke 11:34 |

God's amazing plan presents the earth as a mirror image of his glory. The light of God will truly be revealing when the Son of God, Jesus Christ makes his presence known. Present world conditions as revealed in the bible tell us that the time of the end is near. The rulers of the darkness of this world are about to be dissolved. II Peter 3:10-12 |
